chillin' with my dog this week

So, I made it through my Arabic presentation... although I wasn't feel too great and it was pretty bad.  Oh well.  I don't have any other classes this week, so I am at my mom's house hanging out with the dog.  I was glad to be here yesterday when I found out that I owe the school - SDSU - a very significant amount of money.  Due to a dumb mistake on my part (something typical of my brother, but very unusual for me), I now have a hefty bill to pay.  I didn't actually cry, but I did spend a lot of time mentally freaking out and talking with mom.  So, that's fun.......

Other than that, I am grading exams, reading, playing a little guitar hero.  I have to be in Orange County on Saturday and San Francisco on Sunday.  I'll update after I get home.

First Day... why do I want to pull my teeth out???

So here is my first real "blog".........

It's Monday and the students that I teach are taking an exam tomorrow, so I have spent most of my day answering  a million emails about questions we discussed ad nauseum in class (you can imagine how much I love repeating myself for the hundredth time).  I also have a 5 minute presentation to do in my Arabic class tomorrow on a new and innovative way to learn vocabulary.  Yah, right.  Whatever.  Of course, there is also the 57 books that I have to read in the next 8 weeks hanging over my head (I have finally finished 2 of them).....

I don't know whether to cry, eat a bunch of junk food, throw up, or slit my wrists.  I am feeling a little overwhelmed today.  Maybe it's called "senioritis" and I just don't want to be here anymore.  I am anxious for graduation.

Okay, so I am starting a blog!  Wow... I never thought I would, but some people in my life are very persuasive!!  So I will try to update regularly on things that aren't too boring.
